Hip coffee bar

At Chatwick, they roast the coffee beans and bake the pastries all by themselves! They used to do this in a small space in Breda, where they also served it. When this turned out to be too small, they moved to a new location in Den Bosch and recently we welcome Chatwick's hip coffee bar in the street ''Achter Het Stadhuis''. More space, but the same quality and hospitality. When you step inside you are welcomed not only by the smell of coffee and croissants, but also by the incredibly friendly baristas who are happy to see you even in the early hours.

You probably step in for the coffee, but come back for the homemade pastries. Everything here is baked fresh every day! Crumbly croissants, cruffins ( the best of the muffin and the croissant), pain au chocolates, bacon maples, pastel de nata. You name it! Be there in time, because in the morning you have the most choice and everything is squishy fresh. If you walk by later in the day, chances are you'll miss out. And you don't want that.

Specialty coffee

A true coffee connoisseur, owner Kyle starts each morning by setting the espresso to 19.5 g in, 41 g out, to ensure that each cup has the perfect balance and just the right acidity. It doesn't tell us much, but it tastes good and that's what matters! Want the same quality at home? Chatwick also sells their own roasted specialty coffee beans. Specialty coffee is the highest quality coffee available. This is rated on color, consistency, aroma and finish on a scale of 1 to 100. A score of 80 points or more can be called specialty coffee.
