Boekhandel Adr. Heinen
Adr. Heinen is a household name throughout the region, as this bookshop has been around since 1912. Generations of Den Bosch residents have come here to restock their bookshelves, pick up the daily paper or buy a literary gift. Housed in three stately buildings and spread over four floors, it offers an incredible collection of beautiful fairy tales, much-talked-about biographies or your new favourite book.
The youngest book lovers have something special to discover too: Adr. Heinen is home to the smallest door in Den Bosch. Anyone knee-high to a grasshopper fits right through it and ends up straight in the children's books department, where the shelves are packed with Grimm's classic fairy tales, colourful bedtime stories and educational books for the very youngest.
